CAMS has signed an agreement with Communications Studies and Integrative Media Departments of Wilkes University, Pennsylvania, the USA, for two its courses from the forthcoming academic sessions. Under the agreement, the CAMS students, pursuing their four-year B.Tech. Course in TV, Film Production and Media Technology, would have the option to spend the fourth year of their degree programme at Wilkes University. Similarly, the students of the three-year BA. (Hons.), Course in Journalism, Mass Communication and Media Technology would have the option of spending the third year at Wilkes University, which happens to be one of the most prestigious universities of the United States. The entry of students for the 3+1 and 2+1 programmes would be based on academic screening criteria to be determined by future discussions between the two universities. As a part of the agreement, the Punjabi University students, who matriculate as full-time residential students into the final year programmes in either of two departments, will be offered a scholarship of $11,000.
